Our summer program is designed to help both beginning and emerging readers by building foundational skills in a structured, encouraging environment.
Designed for students age 4-8
Four week program
Held Monday through Friday for two hours in the morning (exact time differs for each child)
$995 includes flashcards and other supplies needed
Each day includes a listening program, brain training activities, Fry sight word practice, Bible reading for fluency, phonograms, and more!

Jody Hanson is our history and American government teacher. She is passionate about helping students understand history because it is an opportunity to see how we connect with people throughout time. One of her favorite ways to teach is using food and cultural activities. She loves seeing - and helping students see - the hand of God throughout history. Jody is one of the founders of Gryffin Learning Center. She is a mother of seven and has 17 years of homeschool & microschool teaching experience.
Katie Bird works with our
Sidney Armstrong oversees student testing and personalized learning plans. She graduated from Brigham Young University with a bachelors in Elementary Education. She later received a Masters in Special Education from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona. Her education also includes advanced certificates in curriculum creation and administration for special education. Sidney has been instructing and directing institutions of special education for over 30 years. Her vast experience and personal passion for special education has helped thousands of special education students learn and grow.
Sarah Church is our preschool teacher. She is the youngest of 6 kids and has watched her young nieces and nephews grow up over the years. She earned her Bachelors degree in Child Development from Brigham Young University-Idaho. When she's not teaching at school, she spends time with her husband, two children, and their dog.
